Iran really needs at least 6 good friendlies for WC-preparation.. But as usuall IFF officials will wait and waste time till it is late.. Carlos Queiroz seems to already be angry at IFF officials...

IFF can't bring their stupid excuses anymore: Even some Western nations wouldn't want to Play friendlies vs IRAN, there are lot of good alternatives:

few examples:

Russia and Iran have currently very good relations(specially after cooperation in Syria). Russia would be ready to Play vs IRAN

The relationship between Turkey and Iran also has improved in lst 2 years, and Turkey has a solid team so Iran can have a good preparation game with them

Also some other countries with good relations to IRAN could be good potential candidates for Iran: teams like Greece, Venezuela, Balarus, Bosnia, Croatia, Armenia, Algeria, Iraq

And if IFF is ready to spend more money even some top south american teams like Brazil or Argentina could be possible..

But I'm really fraid IFF would once again waste so much time so at the end Iran could only Play very weak teams like Lebanon

Getting things done in a timely manner in Iran is almost an impossible task. They will always wait for that last minute, before actually starting the process.CQ indeed is frustrated as most promises made to him often end up not being delivered.

One thing for sure is that CQ will not spend one more day in Iran after the WC is over!

A tentative plan was announced for an optimistic outlook on preparation: video (http://footballitarin.com/video_page.php?id=44858)

Camp 1: Qatar and friendlies with neighboring AFC nations

Camp 2 & Final in Europe (location: Italy or Greece) to play Mediterranean countries (Turkey and Greece being named), African opponents (Algeria, Libya, Egypt)

Intense matches close to World Cup in consideration with prospects being considered:

22-March: Bulgari, Romania, Bosnia, Hungry or Italy

27-March: Croatia, Serbia, Egypt, Tunisia, or Belgium
