That's great thanks!

What I don't understand is why he would come back to the chaotic world of Iranian football when he saw how badly he was treated before (to the point that he literally escaped with his life!).

Oftadeh jan ... here is the answer ... he loves his country ($$$) and he would do anything for great 70 million fans ($$$$) because they are the greatest ($$$$). Fans has shown him a lot of love ($$$$) and he wants to show his gratitude ($$$$) by taking over the team in such a bad situation ($$$$$).

It's a win win situation even if Iran doesn't qualify he can write down that he was the head coach of TM on his resume. Oh and yes the $$$ is certainly a plus but we must be very realistic it's going to be an uphill battle for him.

Hamid jaan, I am afraid I disagree with you, indeed money has, is and will always be a big factor in our everyday life and decisions, however I believe for Qotbi at this point the main objective is his passionate love to lead TM, he has always and from day one expressed his huge interest to take charge of TM. And honestly I highly doubt he will be much compensated for these remaining 3 matches anyway, and even though there's no guarantee to keep the HC position even if TM qualifies to WC 2010. So at this point you really gotta give it to the man!

Yup. I agree. Plus, Iran's money is worthless anyways. i think it's more passion>money in this case. However it still remains that
IFF <,shit. So we'll see what happens.

Iran should adopt the Euro for sure.

Imagine how easy it would be for European companies to want to invest in Iran if that happened.

Keano Jaan, I agree with all you said but at this time he is looking for future too. His success open lots of doors for him which may worth lots of money and fame in future.
