When my Business trip to Isfahan was canceled , I was able to check the thing out in our TM camp. It was the first time that I was watching GN's practice session, and let me add my 2 cents on his style of coaching TM later in this forum, for the time being, enjoy the pictures!

What's wrong with you? The cows came home? That's just half the wait. Now you must wait until the monkeys learn how to swim. Relax !!!!!!:D

lol ... sorry but it seems the site that hosts the images is down.

It was working this morning. Mehran jan is using a hosting site called "freeimagehosting.net" which is extremely slow in the afternoon. In fact, I checked and it was down this afternoon (right now). Wait until later this evening to view them. Each file is really large (around 2 MB).

Guys, I am uploading from the awailable hosting sites which is not filtered here, Remember, I am connecting the internet from Iran, which means slow & selected connections.

If you know a beter Image hosting site, please tell me so, since I plan to visit the practice sessions later this week, and will have more photos for IK to post:iran:

Thanks for the photos. I think if you change the set up on your camera you can take these photos in a lot smaller size, let's say around 100kb which would be much easier to upload and it should not effect the picture quality that much. Thanks again.

I usually take 700 KB shots, & downsize them to 100-150 KB for uploading.

Very nice pictures. Where is the team practicing?

TM Camp is located at Adadi (Aryamehr) sports complex (Tehran-Karaj Highway) it is the ex- Hockey field used in 1974 Asian games, convereted into soccer field and an indoor saloon few years ago (during Safaee farahani era)

Momad 246 jaan, The GN's pratice session's atmosphere is different from Branko in many ways. I did attend more than 20-30 sessions during Branko era, but last sunday was my first session with GN in charge. let me comment on his style after a couple of more visits, but just for the record, I have to say that GN loves to participate in the pratice games himself, and it makes the players a bit nervous. also, he does not like the crowd to cheer the players during the practice session, and has asked the spectators not to make noise , so the players could concentrate on their exercise!!

players like Karimi, Enayati feel more relaxed and are more talkative compared to their previous TM practices under Branko. Mehdi and Kaabi are mysteriously quiet. for an effective capitan, one expect Mehdi to communicate more with his coplayers. I hope I am wrong, but I found him a bit nervous.

Mehran jaan, first of all thanks for sharing your priviliged moments with us. Secondly, I must confess that I agree with you that a quiet Captain, specially in times (training sessions) where he can create connections is very much worrying. We should not forget that Mehdi is generally a quiet person. Otherwise, I think GN insisting on quiet atmosphere around the training ground and participating with his team in practices are all good points.

Thanks again. Forza Iran

Mehran jan thanks for great inside. It's very appreciated by all IK members.

Micheal Jordan was a fierce competitor but on his summer practice with his team, he never spoke a word. On game day, he would let everyone know exactly what he expected from them ... it's called leading by example. Kia is showing how serious he is about AC and showing it in every practice. You cannot see a single picture of Kia smiling ... I like it ... he is being a leader.

Bring back Asian Cup home ... where it belongs Kia Jan.

Hamid jaan, I really appreciate your positivism but there are 3 things I would like to add:

- Captains like Michael Jordan or even Zidane may have been very quiet people by nature and would have only instructed their teams prior to their match but we should not forget one thing: They were the un-contested BEST players on the ground/pitch as well. Everyone was dying to have a word addressed to him by one of those players.

- These players were surrounded by top professional players who had the right pro attitude as well. They knew their game, had the same pro language and understanding between them and could execute without fault the requirements by their coach and captains.

- Un-fortunately, in our culture, the bigger mouth you have, the better you are respected regardless what you say. The calmer you are, people think you have problems or you do not feel good in the group. Honestly, I do not believe that the silent policy is the right policy chosen by Mehdi jaane gol in our team as there are many (specially our younger players and fans) who think LEADERSHIP = BIG MOUTH. HAPPINESS = SMILING. FEELING GOOD = BEING TALKATIVE.

I really hope that Mehdi has not forgotten that playing in Iran is totally different from what normally is practiced/expected in Europe. We only believe what we see!

Forza Iran

Thank you very much Mehran jaan. I really appreciate it... And I think the size of your pics are great, do not change anything.

I also liked the information you gave about the difference between Branco and GN. I don't have more to add right now since the little that has been said has already covered my thoughts.

Good Luck TM !!

I am not sure about Zidane. But MJ's every move was coverd here in US. I agree there is no question MJ was head and shoulders above everyone else on his team (and NBA for that matter) but it does to some extend to Kia as well. Will it force Karimi or Hashemian to give it 100%? No, but those guys are professionals as well. My main issue is with IPL players who may not understand the level of play they will be facing in AC. Kia stature among IPL players is comparable to MJ (IMO).

- These players were surrounded by top professional players who had the right pro attitude as well. They knew their game, had the same pro language and understanding between them and could execute without fault the requirements by their coach and captains.

Yes, towards the end of his career, MJ was playing with very mature teammates. But in early days, he had few pre madona's as well. Chicago was not a good team when MJ came in.

- Un-fortunately, in our culture, the bigger mouth you have, the better you are respected regardless what you say. The calmer you are, people think you have problems or you do not feel good in the group. Yes, I absolutely agree with you on this issue. But Kia is quite by nature.

Kian_H. You have 24 hours to clean your post, or another red card is waiting for you.

why? because I get mad at someone who says my post is BS because I want to support our TM and go cheer for them? Ohh is that how the rules in here are? I wont edit anything... maybe it's his post you should edit okay. Ban me if you want. I guess supporting your national team before the asian cup isn't allowed here... okay then maybe you want me to say things like this:

GHALENOIE is a member of hezhbollah
We will fail in our group
enayati is just a mordeh khor and shouldn't play football
It's Ali Daeis fault that we won't win the AC this year because our younger players couldn't get experience in friendlies because of him

Im sorry hamidoo but I don't consider those things as supporting your national team... maybe you do?
