I hate the LAKERS, but even if I were a fan, and all of the sports talk show callers here in LA wanted him gone, I'd be happy seeing him leave. For the last 2 yrs he'd reported to camp, overweight, out of shape, and had said that he wouldn't play defense if he doesn't get the ball offensively, so he's a big baby.

I personally think he doesn't have an ounce of talent and the only reason he is any good is his size, if he was 6'6, he wouldn't even be in NBADL

as romario said, shaq only has his size (have you seen him shoot? :rotflmao: ) I'm not a big fan of basketball, and I only followed it when Jordan played for the Bulls, but this Lakers break-up will surely make things interesting.

This is the most stupid move in the the history of the NBA. This is even worse than Portland selecting Sam Boie over Michael Jordan. At least Portland did not know Boie would have a devistateing knee injury. Shaq is still a 7"1' 360 pound monster. You are trading him for a guy that got suspended for smoking marajuna twice(L Odom), another guy that is 32 and injury proned(B Grant), and an unproven Butler, who averaged 9 points, and a draft pick. Wow. I am amazed at LA's stupidity.
