Question: When was IK first launched?

I am curious and I wan't to know when was IK launched. If you could give me a year and a month that would be perfect. I also wan't to know who started IK.

Thats intresting. What time was it? Can you tell us more? I would love to know the history of IK. Who were the other members? How was the coaches corner? How could u live without BOTD? Any exciting events? lol

actually Dino came to Canada for 1 year....and did not like it...so, he moved back....
I watched Iran KSA WC qualifying game, 2-0 Iran, with him in Canada...
I was there and my brother and few freinds got together....got KALEH PACHE and watched the game....It was fun.... we won, beat arabs in front of 120,000 in Iran.....and I had kaleh pache at the same time ;)

Sherwin, I started checking IK after Iran qualified for the 98 WC. This was 6 years ago. If I remember correctly Irankicks was a webpage in the begining and I think it was hosted by angelfire.com. I first started posting under Kiko. Back then the forum was very basic and there wasn't a member profile and you typed in your user name everytime you posted. The originals that I remember as the most active are the same as NASA said. I think Afshin joined a year later too. Also, Mashsaeed posted under 20 different names after being banned 20 different times!!

I joined IK about 4 years ago. LOL, Mashsaeed will always hold the record for most bans. I think it was 17 at last count. He brought so much to the board - great member.
