well, all I hear on Iranian TV, from the same guys who condemn the nuclear program, is for students to protest and riot.. I mean what the hell is that going to accomplish? look what the last revolution brought us... what makes you think another one is better? there is no doubt in my mind that the instigators from the outside are only after their own gains and only wave this banner to get others to help with their cause. their motive are self serving and what they incite is contrary even to their own rhetoric. and I am not a big fan of the mullahs, but we have a lot more breathing room than we had before. sure, things are not perfect, but I think if we spend time building a solid backbone on technology and discipline, we can move the country forward to a better place. there is no doubt in my mind that we have some of the smartest, most caring and brightest students in the world. the problem is, instead of reaping the benefits of work, foreigners instigate riots, and we end up with nothing... we need not to fight amongst ourselves and rally behind a common cause of moving Iran forward. pouring into streets and causing raucous is not the way to do it...
