4 months of taking a break from the season.
Well, at least the month of July will be interesting with the free agency and all the upcoming trades.
One trade is done: T-mac has gone to the Rockets.

I think the magic got the better of the deal. Tmac is good but hes no Micheal Jordan.
Im a knicks fan and we got shit in the draft. Im hoping we can make a trade or something. We were doing pretty good late last season, so im hoping we will do better this season.

I wouldn't be so sure.
Tyron Lue is a very good player, so is Juan Howard. Howard is at least better then Cato.
T-mac is all NBA 1st team material, something Yao is not. He is a better player than Kobe but makes far less, given his shorter presence in he league.
He is def. worth the 14 mill he is gonna make from now on.

I think Rockets got the better end of the deal. Yes, Tmac had major attitude problem, but after seeing how much Wallace has grown up since moving to Detroit, I really think there is hope for all. With a maturing Yao and Tmac in the line up, Rockets must be a force to be reckon with in the West.

Well, as soon as we know what's up with Jason Kidd, we'll have a better picture on ShaQ. :D
But, we know that Suns are offering $100 Mil to Kobe.

With Yao and Tmac the Rockets are now a sirious force in the western conference. Look for them to be in the second round of the playoffs or possibly third.

The Clipps are offering him a nice contract as well. I don't have the exact number but it would involve them droppong Q Richardson to free up cap room. Brand and Kobe would be a nice 1-2 punch as would Stoudamire and Kobe for PHX

Suns are about to land Mav's Nash.
While the consesnsus is that Nash-less Dallas would be unable to trade for Shaq, they still have Antoine Walker and Finley available.
One team that could be involved is Memphis. They can throw in 4-5 moderately prized players, yet still have enough talent left to have a supporting cast for Shaq.
Kings are also said to be involved, obviously they have to deal the over-priced Webber, probably Divac (thru sign and trade while LA wold ask for Brad Miller)
Nets are also said to want to trade K-Mart (sign and trade), Kittles and Rodney Rogers for Shaq, but that would be alast resort for LA.

Shaq is about to land in Miami!
But what will the Lakers do with 2 small forwards (Butler and Odom) and an undersized power forward (Grant)
Interesting to see what Miami does. They will be better but they don't have any other big man. Shaq will have it harder than in LA.

I put my main comments under alagol's thread.
Eastern conference which doesn't have a dominant big man was the better conference for Shaq to showcase his talent. He'll make Miami competitive. I honestly think Heats got the better end of the deal.
